Our project contrasts with other types of emergency housing, such as wooden cabins, which, although they may appear more aesthetically pleasing at first, do not offer the same level of comfort and long-term durability. Families relocated to our units have shared experiences that confirm our solution not only provided them with a safe refuge but also a true sense of home and dignity under extremely difficult circumstances. One of the most notable aspects of this project was the ability to quickly transform a vision into reality, establishing a new neighborhood in just a few months. This achievement is remarkable not only for our organization but also for the council of La Palma, demonstrating a joint effort in response to an urgent human need. This project not only challenged our logistical and planning capabilities but also represented our deepest commitment to social responsibility and community impact.
